Dice Notation Reference

XdY

Roll X dice with Y sides. Example: 2d6 rolls two six-sided dice. Use the Count control to set X (1–20).

XdY+Z / XdY−Z

Add or subtract a flat modifier. Example: 1d20+5 rolls a d20 and adds 5. Use the Modifier control to set Z (−20 to +20).

4d6kh3 (Stats)

Classic ability score roll — 4d6, keep the 3 highest results. Select the Stats preset to roll all six ability scores at once.

Hit dice (Health)

Roll your hit dice for HP on level-up. Select the Health preset and choose your class hit die.

Available Dice

d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d100 — plus Stats and Health presets. On mobile, shake your device to roll once shake-to-roll is enabled.
